Privacy policy

This policy explains what information GEOrank ("we", "us") collects through georank.space, why, and what you can do about it. We've tried to keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, website (optional) and message.
• Newsletter signup: your email address.
• Phone calls and emails you send us directly.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people use the site: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (country or city level), what device and browser they use, and which site referred them. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies to do this. Our web server also keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use advertising cookies, and our Google consent settings deny ad storage and ad personalization by default.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and prepare a quote
• To send the newsletter you asked for, if you signed up
• To understand and improve the website
• To keep the site secure and stop spam

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business: our hosting provider, Google (Analytics and Tag Manager), and an email service to deliver form messages and the newsletter. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records afterward. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention setting.

Your choices and rights

• Newsletter: every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Access, correction and deletion: depending on where you live (including under the Colorado Privacy Act, where it applies), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to opt out of certain processing. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
