What we do to get you cited by AI search

Everything below has one goal: when a customer asks an AI assistant a question you can answer, your business shows up in the answer, and the facts about you are right.

Start here

AI visibility audit

We build a list of the questions your customers actually ask, ideally from your own calls, emails and Search Console data. Then we run each one through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews, several times, signed out.

  • Which businesses get named, and how often
  • Which pages and sites the engines cite as sources
  • Whether your own details (phone, hours, services) are stated correctly
  • A ranked fix list: what to do first and why

Technical and listing fixes

If an engine can't read your site, or finds three different phone numbers for you, it hedges. That usually means it picks someone else. We fix the plumbing:

  • Crawler access. We check robots.txt, firewalls and CDN rules so search and AI crawlers such as OpenAI's OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and Googlebot can reach the pages you want found.
  • Structured data. Organization or LocalBusiness markup, Service, FAQ and Article markup, matched to what's visible on the page.
  • Consistent details. Name, phone, hours, service area and description, the same on your site, Google Business Profile, Bing Places and the directories that matter in your field.
  • Speed and structure. Fast pages, clean HTML headings, one topic per page, sitemaps that stay current.
  • llms.txt. A short plain-text guide to your site in the proposed llms.txt format. It's cheap to add, though no major engine has committed to using it, and we'll tell you that up front.
Content

Answer-first content

AI engines quote pages that answer the question directly and back it up with specifics. We rewrite or create:

  • One page per service, opening with a two-sentence answer: what it is, who it's for, where you offer it
  • Real FAQs drawn from your customers' questions, answered in a few sentences each
  • Comparison and "how to choose" pages where buyers are deciding between options
  • Facts engines can check: licenses, service areas, process, timelines, what affects cost

We write like a person who knows your trade, not like a brochure. You approve everything before it goes live.

Reputation

Earned mentions

Engines weigh what other sites say about you. The audit shows which sources they trust for your topic: trade associations, local news, review sites, "best of" lists, community threads. We help you get listed or mentioned there honestly, through correct listings, useful contributions and outreach. We never buy reviews or placements.

Measurement

Monthly tracking and reporting

Each month we re-run the same set of questions on every engine and report:

  • Appearance rate: the share of answers that name you
  • Citation rate: how often your own pages are linked as a source
  • Accuracy: whether the facts stated about you are right
  • AI referral traffic in GA4, from sources like chatgpt.com and perplexity.ai

Plus a short list of what we changed and what's next. Nothing to decode.
